MCUT organized The 2024 Southern East Festival in the campus supported by Labor Affairs Department of New Taipei city. The event attracted new residents, oversea workers, and residents from surrounding communities, the campus received more than 280 external visitors. The campus is enriched of exotic foods and cultural performances. Food stalls of Burmese, Cambodia, Indonesia, Malaysia, and Vietnamese cuisine are all at your choice. There were also delicate cultural displays and outstanding traditional dance on stage.       

Mr. Lai, section chief of Labor Affairs Department of New Taipei city mentioned that this is a very successful event, MCUT always contributes in new residents and immigrant issues. I was especially impressed by the photo expo, this was very exceptional from previous events.

Mr. Pu, manager of General Education Center of MCUT said that Ming Chi focuses a lot in supporting new residents and immigrant workers, and we will do our best to make it better and better! We look forward to being a solid support for them.

Aside from dance groups of new residents from Vietnam and Indonesia, there were also a dance group formed by international students of Ming Chi, their dance “Wonderful Indonesia” brought the audience to a wonderful and enjoyable experience! And the last part of the program, the luck draw marked a perfect ending to the festival.
