The event received enthusiastic responses from both industry professionals and the public.

As Taiwan's population continues to age, the silver-haired market has become a significant and growing business opportunity. To meet the needs of the elderly in various aspects such as food, clothing, housing, transportation, education, recreation, and medical care, Ming Chi University of Technology (MCUT) and Chang Gung University of Science and Technology (CGUST) co-founded SECIA in 2023. Through this expo, SECIA provided excellent exposure opportunities for startups, helping them increase brand awareness and promote business growth.

Exhibiting companies included MasaLife, Yixin Health Business,Loyalty Global Business Corporation, IDEN Biotechnology, and a key partner for field validation— Chang Gung Health and Culture Village. Their products and services not only improved the quality of life for the elderly but also highlighted the latest trends in smart elder care.

  • Chang Gung Health and Culture Village: Founded by Mr. Yung-Ching Wang, the village embodies the principle of "caring for elders as we care for our own." The goal of "health preservation" is to promote a healthy lifestyle, while "culture" emphasizes enriching life content. The village offers physical and cognitive support to elders, creating a vibrant and dignified living environment.
  • MasaLife: Launched a smart massage cushion that combines AI technology and sports medicine. With its patented path-free technology, it provides the most precise home back massage products, enhancing the quality of life for seniors.
  • Yixin Health Business: In line with the Taiwan’s Long-Term Care 2.0 plan, the company offers in-home physical care services, daily care, and household services, helping disabled elders and individuals with disabilities improve their self-care abilities, and easing the burden on family caregivers.
