Ming Chi University of Technology will hold the iPAS capability certification promotion seminar and the "Net Zero Carbon Planning Manager" introductory certification training course on September 21-22 and 28-29, 2024. The event is organized by the Research and Development Office's Production Center, Industry Collaboration Group, and Internship and Employment Guidance Group. President Liu Zu-hua, Secretary-General Zhou Jin-wan, R&D Director Chen Sheng-ji, Director Feng Kui-zhi, and Group Leader Zeng Zheng enthusiastically participated in the opening ceremony on September 21, encouraging students to focus on green energy and sustainable development issues, grasp current sustainability trends, and enhance their competitiveness in the future job market.

The course consists of four sessions, each attracting nearly one hundred students and faculty members on average, demonstrating a high level of interest in sustainability issues. We hope this course will help participants gain a deeper understanding of the exam's key points and wish all participants success in the Net Zero Carbon Planning Manager introductory certification on November 9.

The Industrial Talent Capability Certification (iPAS) is issued by the Ministry of Economic Affairs and recognized by the Ministry of Education, enjoying broad support from the industry. Our Environmental Safety and Health Department has listed the iPAS Net Zero Carbon Planning Manager introductory certification as a Grade B high-value credential. Through this training course, we aim to equip faculty and students with the key skills needed for net zero carbon planning, enhance the pass rate of the exam, and strengthen the professional capabilities of faculty and staff in industry transformation planning.

For students, passing the certification not only provides opportunities for priority interviews and employment but may also lead to salary increases, further enhancing their competitive edge in the job market. This will open up more possibilities for participants' career paths, helping them stand out in their future workplaces.
