update date : 2022-04-18

In 2018, Ming Chi University of Technology and the University of Technology of Troyes (Université de technologie de Troyes) signed the sister school cooperation agreement, and developed a 5+1 bachelor/master combined program. Since then, several MCUT students have been selected and sent to Troyes to gain overseas learning experience.

The University of Technology of Troyes is a public university in France, being famous for its science and technology schools. According to 《l'étudiant》, the best known educational magazine in France, the University of Technology of Troyes ranks the third best among all five-year engineering schools. Based on the cooperation agreement between the university and MCUT, its students can apply for a one-year further study after studying for 4 and a half years at Troyes. After completing half-year internship training, Troyes students will be awarded both a postgraduate diploma of engineering and an MCUT MBA degree.

MCUT is excited to welcome the very first graduate, Yann Harena Rakotomalala, coming from France. Mr. Rakotomalala began his studies in Taiwan in February, 2020. He had excellent academic performances, and accumulated abundant work experience as an intern at WeMo Scooter. After successfully acquiring the diploma and the degree from both universities, Mr. Rakotomalala has been invited to join and work at WeMo Scooter.

Dr. Winnie Chieh-Lan Li, the Dean of the MCUT Office of International Affairs, emphasized the efficient and effective learning that MCUT international bachelor/master combined programs offer. MCUT will continue to strengthen international cooperation with foreign universities, and will cultivate more talents with global vision.
