Formosa Plastics Group Hosts Joint Outstanding Teacher Awards Ceremony for Ming Chi University of Technology, Chang Gung University, and Chang Gung University of Science and Technology

　　On September 23, Formosa Plastics Group's Main Management Department jointly hosted the "Outstanding Teacher Awards Ceremony" for Ming Chi University of Technology (MCUT), Chang Gung University (CGU), and Chang Gung University of Science and Technology (CGUST). The event was personally presided over by the chairperson of the three universities, Mr. Wang Wenyuan. Approximately 68 outstanding teachers and administrators from the three universities attended, creating a solemn and enthusiastic atmosphere.

　　Founded in 1963, Ming Chi University of Technology has a history of 62 years. With the selfless dedication of all faculty members, the university has consistently implemented its educational goal: "To provide holistic education that cultivates students with diligence and integrity, a balance of theory and practice, and lifelong learning abilities." In recent years, Ming Chi Tech has achieved remarkable results in both domestic and international rankings. In the latest 2025 Times Higher Education (THE) Impact Rankings, the university is ranked among 401–600 globally. Additionally, in the 2025 Taiwan University Rankings by Global Views Magazine, Ming Chi Tech was ranked 8th among comprehensive universities and 2nd among technological universities nationwide. These accolades fully recognize the university’s efforts in teaching, research, and industry-academia collaboration. Moving forward, Ming Chi Tech will continue to strive for excellence, cultivating students not only with theoretical and practical skills but also with lifelong learning abilities, innovative thinking, and high moral character, aiming for its graduates and research teams to become preferred partners for enterprises.

　　During the awards ceremony, the chairperson personally presented trophies to faculty members who have demonstrated excellence in teaching, research, student guidance, and industry-academia collaboration, expressing gratitude for their long-term dedication. The three universities share a common origin and uphold a continuous educational spirit. The ceremony serves to recognize teachers' professional contributions to student growth and encourages them to continue leveraging their expertise to cultivate outstanding talent.

　　This year’s honored teachers from Ming Chi Tech have excelled in teaching dedication, innovative instruction, research, and student guidance. They serve not only as guides for students' learning but also as promoters of academic innovation and industry-academia connection, fully demonstrating Ming Chi University of Technology's commitment to "holistic education with a balance of theory and practice."

　　On this special day, the students of Ming Chi University of Technology also expressed their gratitude and respect to all faculty members. They conveyed their appreciation for the teachers' silent dedication in daily teaching roles, stating that "knowledge changes destiny, and education shapes the future," and acknowledged the teachers' efforts in nurturing generations of students. The students extended their sincerest greetings: "Teachers, you have worked hard! Thank you! Happy Teacher's Day!" and wished all teachers good health, happiness, and a fulfilling life.
