Taipei City Government Education Bureau, Songshan Commercial School, Songshan Agricultural School, and Shih Chien University visit Ming Chi University for career exploration.

  In order to deepen career exploration education and strengthen industry–academia collaboration, while also promoting the development of emerging technologies in line with global trends, the Department of Education of the Taipei City Government organized the 2025 Technical High School Curriculum and Instruction Promotion Work Circle Visit on Monday, July 28. As part of the program, a delegation of principals and teachers from Taipei’s technical high schools visited Ming Chi University of Technology (MCUT) for curriculum exchange and a campus tour.

  The delegation included representatives from the Department of Education, as well as principals and faculty members from several leading technical high schools in Taipei, including Taipei Municipal Songshan High School of Agriculture and Industry, Taipei Municipal Songshan High School of Commerce and Home Economics, and Taipei Municipal Shilin High School of Commerce, totaling 16 distinguished guests. The Admissions Division of MCUT arranged a full-day itinerary, beginning with a welcome address delivered by President Tsu-Hua Liu, followed by an overview of the university’s educational philosophy and development initiatives presented by the Dean of Academic Affairs. In addition, Professor Yen-Jen Chen, Director of the Bachelor Program in Industrial Artificial Intelligence, delivered a keynote lecture titled “Applications and Trends of Artificial Intelligence.”

  Beyond the keynote session, the delegation also participated in on-site tours of the university’s research centers and distinctive teaching facilities, gaining deeper insight into how MCUT enhances students’ professional skills and career competitiveness through industry–academia cooperation, interdisciplinary learning, and innovative research. Attending faculty members expressed that the visit was highly rewarding, offering valuable perspectives for curriculum design and teaching enhancement in technical high schools, while also paving the way for future inter-school collaboration and talent cultivation.

  Guided by its motto “Diligence and Simplicity,” Ming Chi University of Technology has long been committed to cultivating outstanding talents who combine practical expertise with global vision. Through this exchange, the university looks forward to building closer ties with Taipei’s technical high schools, jointly advancing vocational education, and nurturing the next generation of professionals who will play a vital role in Taiwan’s industries.
