In 2023, Ming Chi University of Technology selected 14 outstanding students to participate in a year-long overseas internship at the renowned American company, Inteplast Group. During their time in this international professional environment, the students not only received rigorous technical training but also gained valuable cross-cultural work experience. Last night (September 5), they successfully completed their internship and returned to Taiwan, bringing back a wealth of knowledge and experience.

Overseas Internship Expands International Horizons and Enhances Professional and Language Skills

During their internship at Inteplast Group, the students were assigned to different departments, where they faced a variety of challenges in their daily tasks. Through hands-on experience, they learned how to apply the theoretical knowledge acquired in class to real-world scenarios, solving problems in a professional setting. In addition to improving their professional skills, the students made remarkable progress in their English language abilities. From the initial adaptation phase to confidently communicating in English, this experience not only helped them overcome language barriers but also fostered confidence and communication skills in an international environment.

Through this overseas internship, the students experienced significant growth in their professional skills, international perspectives, and interpersonal communication abilities. These valuable experiences will serve as a foundation for their future competitiveness in the job market.
