2026 Club Expo | New Journey Club Fair
On a midsummer evening, Ming Chi University of Technology (MCUT) proudly hosted its 2026 New Journey Club Fair. Led by the Student Association, this year’s event was themed “New Journey Club Fair,” symbolizing the beginning of an exciting new chapter for first-year students as they embark on campus life. Much like setting sail across an expansive, uncharted ocean, the Club Fair served as a welcoming harbor where students could discover new interests and begin their remarkable university journey.
The venue brought together a diverse range of student clubs from across the university, showcasing the vibrant learning spirit, enthusiasm, and cultural richness of campus life. The stage was alive with exciting performances throughout the evening. The Lovemusic Club kicked off the event with an energetic opening performance that instantly ignited the crowd. The Electronic Music Research Club, Guitar Club, and other clubs followed with a series of captivating performances. The Dance Club delivered the grand finale, captivating the audience with sharp, dynamic choreography and earning enthusiastic cheers and applause. The excitement extended beyond the stage, as the entire venue buzzed with energy and youthful spirit.
The club booths were equally vibrant and diverse. Whether in sports, academic and artistic pursuits, or community service, each club showcased its creativity through eye-catching decorations, engaging games, photo opportunities, and lucky draws that attracted large numbers of first-year students. As newcomers explored the booths and interacted with enthusiastic senior students, they experienced firsthand the unique appeal of each club. Some discovered a passion that could shape their university years, while others were drawn in by the fun activities. Laughter and music filled the air, creating an atmosphere brimming with youthful energy, passion, and unforgettable memories.
The theme “New Journey Club Fair” represented more than just a title; it embodied the spirit of taking the first step into university life. It evoked the moment of standing at the bow of a ship, ready to set sail into the vast future, embracing the gentle breeze with excitement and curiosity. The clubs at MCUT serve as shining beacons and trusted companions throughout this voyage, inviting every new student to become an explorer of new horizons and write their own unique voyage log. Whether students hope to challenge themselves, cultivate new interests, or simply make friends who share their passions, there is a course waiting for everyone to chart.
Faculty members and students came together to celebrate this special occasion. As the evening grew darker, the stage lights illuminated the smiling faces throughout the crowd. Amid cheers, excitement, and heartfelt enthusiasm, the 2026 New Journey Club Fair came to a successful close. The event not only marked the beginning of university life for incoming students but also brought fresh energy to MCUT’s vibrant club culture. In the days ahead, let us embrace our youth, pursue our passions, and continue writing the inspiring story of the New Journey together.
