The 115th-Year University Collaboration Employment Service Subsidy Program—Career Lectures Achieve Outstanding Results: 9 Sessions Held in March with Over 520 Participants
To strengthen students’ career readiness and enhance their employability, the Industry–University Cooperation Development Center under the Office of Research and Development at Ming Chi University of Technology collaborated with the Workforce Development Agency, Ministry of Labor (Northern Taipei, Keelung, Yilan, Hualien, Kinmen, and Matsu Branch), under the “115th-Year University Collaboration Employment Service Subsidy Program.” In March of Year 115, a series of career lectures were intensively organized, featuring diverse themes and practice-oriented content to help students smoothly transition into the workforce and stay informed of industry trends.
A total of nine career lectures were held during March, covering topics such as career positioning and self-assessment, workplace adaptation and work habits, emotional management and career exploration, career opportunities in an aging society, career blueprint planning, interpersonal communication skills, workplace etiquette, interview strategies, and EQ and relationship management. The course design addressed students’ practical needs and career development directions, integrating theoretical foundations with real-world case studies to enhance learning outcomes and practical application abilities.
The series invited multiple industry professionals to share their expertise. Through case analysis and interactive engagement, students were guided to better understand workplace culture and employer expectations, while also strengthening self-awareness and career planning skills. Participation was enthusiastic, with a total attendance exceeding 520 participants, and the highest single session drawing nearly 100 attendees, reflecting strong student interest in career development topics.
Through this lecture series, students not only developed a clearer and more accurate understanding of career planning, but also enhanced their job readiness, further advancing the goal of bridging academic learning with industry practice. Moving forward, Ming Chi University of Technology will continue to integrate government resources and industry partnerships to promote diversified career development initiatives, supporting students in successfully transitioning into the workforce and strengthening their overall competitiveness.
