To assist high school students in exploring diverse academic pathways and to strengthen engagement between secondary education and higher education, Ming Chi University of Technology (MCUT) recently participated in a college fair at Zhulin High School. Faculty members from the Department of Materials Engineering and the Department of Environmental Safety and Health Engineering were present to introduce their programs and interact directly with students.

　　The college fair brought together multiple universities, offering students a valuable opportunity to gain comprehensive information about various academic programs. MCUT’s faculty team provided detailed introductions to their departments, including curriculum design, learning content, and career prospects, helping students develop a foundational understanding of these professional fields as they plan their future studies.

　　During the event, faculty members also highlighted industry trends in areas such as advanced materials, green manufacturing, and environmental safety. They shared insights into hands-on learning experiences at MCUT, including laboratory courses, project-based learning, and industry internships, allowing students to better understand the integration of theory and practice. Students actively engaged in discussions, asking questions about application materials, learning portfolios, and career development, creating a dynamic and interactive atmosphere.

　　In addition, MCUT introduced its well-established industry-academia collaboration model and internship opportunities, which enable students to gain practical experience and enhance their professional competencies. The university also offers various scholarships and financial aid programs to support students in their academic pursuits.

　　MCUT stated that it will continue to participate in college fairs and outreach activities, strengthening connections with high schools and helping students gain early insights into academic planning and industry trends, while cultivating highly skilled professionals equipped for future challenges.
