The 114th Academic Year Teacher-Student Badminton Tournament
Since the renovation of the gymnasium, the 17th Faculty and Student Badminton Tournament has been successfully held, with a total of 459 faculty members and students participating. The number of participants has remained steadily growing, reflecting the continuous improvement in badminton skills and overall standards among faculty and students. Along with the increased utilization of the gymnasium’s dedicated badminton courts compared to the past, the tournament has become increasingly vibrant and competitive.
One of the most distinctive features of this year’s competition was that class advisors were able to represent their respective classes. It was common to witness exciting matches between advisors and students on the same court. In addition, the team events featured male and female students competing together, showcasing inclusivity and teamwork. While players sweated it out on the court, enthusiastic classmates off the court generously offered applause and cheers, creating an energetic and spirited atmosphere.
As students demonstrated their athletic skills, they also embodied true sportsmanship, remaining humble in victory and resilient in defeat. At the conclusion of the tournament, both sides exchanged handshakes and salutes, promising to meet again next year for another exciting competition.
