To enhance new faculty members’ understanding of university operations and to continue promoting an international and friendly campus, Ming Chi University of Technology (MCUT) held the 2025 New Faculty Orientation and Forum on September 8, 2025 (Monday) at the Ming Chi Auditorium, located on the first floor of the Comprehensive Building.

　　The event was personally hosted by the President, with all deans and directors in attendance. To support international faculty members, an English version of the presentation and tablet devices were provided, enabling participants to follow the session seamlessly. The university community warmly welcomed the new members to the Ming Chi family, helping them settle in and begin their academic journey smoothly.

　　The session began with an introduction by the President, who outlined the university’s history, educational philosophy, and current institutional development. Each dean and director then presented information about administrative support systems and available teaching and research resources, allowing new faculty to quickly familiarize themselves with the campus and workflow.

　　In his speech, the President emphasized that Ming Chi University of Technology upholds its motto of “Diligence and Simplicity.” He encouraged faculty and staff to continuously pursue excellence in their work and to strive together toward the university’s next stage of growth.

　　During the discussion session, faculty members actively shared their thoughts and questions on topics such as teaching resources, research collaboration, and administrative services, creating an engaging and lively atmosphere. The administrators responded openly and supportively, reflecting the university’s commitment to communication, inclusiveness, and care for its members.

　　Ming Chi University of Technology remains dedicated to fostering a professional and friendly working environment. Moving forward, the university will continue organizing activities that strengthen collaboration and unity, advancing together toward a new chapter for Ming Chi.
