update date : 2025-10-31

Ming Chi University held its Freshman Orientation Camp on September 4 at 1:30 PM in the third floor of the gymnasium. R&D Director Chen Sheng-Chi attended the event to introduce the relevant services of the R&D Office to the new students and to extend his blessings.

Director Chen first shared opportunities for junior internships, including the U.S. internship program and government-funded student projects, encouraging students to seize these valuable internship opportunities and connect with the workplace early. Outstanding students will also have priority selection rights, motivating everyone to study hard and pave the way for their future.

In addition, the Director emphasized the school's active promotion of the "iPAS Economic Ministry Industry Talent Competency Certification." The school not only subsidizes the certification exam fees but also allows students who obtain recognized high-value professional certifications to apply for rewards of up to NT$6,000 per certificate. These certifications will significantly enhance students' workplace competitiveness, resulting in a graduate employment rate of up to 90%, with average salaries exceeding those of other entry-level employees by more than 10%.

The atmosphere at the event was lively, with enthusiastic participation from the freshmen, who also received small gifts. The R&D Director welcomed the new students to the Ming Chi University family, looking forward to their future studies and encouraging them to seize every opportunity to lay a solid foundation for their future.
