Amid the global momentum toward net-zero transformation and the advancement of smart mobility technologies, the Intelligent Vehicle Startup Accelerator (IVSA) participated in COMPUTEX 2025, the world-renowned tech exhibition, from May 20 to 23, 2025. The showcase was held at TaiNEX 1, 4F, Booth N0814. Jointly organized by Formosa Automobile Transportation Corporation and Ming Chi University of Technology, the exhibition featured seven promising startup teams, presenting their innovative achievements across smart mobility, AI applications, and green energy technologies. The event attracted numerous professionals from home and abroad, injecting fresh innovation into Taiwan’s intelligent vehicle industry.
As AI technologies rapidly reshape industries, the Intelligent Vehicle Startup Accelerator (IVSA) showcased a unified exhibition of smart mobility solutions developed by its incubated startups. This one-stop platform highlighted innovations in vehicle intelligence and electrification, while promoting cross-sector collaboration. Key exhibits included Sonice AIoE smart home EV charging system for enhanced convenience, OmniEye real-time AI-driven fleet safety solutions, PurismEV integrated smart driving and energy-saving technologies, and LSC Ecosystem precision-designed components for light electric vehicles.
Carota leverages OTA technology to power smart mobility and shape the future of transportation. Ming-Li leads in smart lighting with LED matrix technology for enhanced visibility and safety. Akima Power specializes in multifunctional lithium battery solutions to boost vehicle performance and range. The joint showcase not only highlighted Taiwan’s startup innovation capacity but also fostered industry dialogue and collaboration, accelerating the adoption of smart mobility and green transportation technologies.
To further showcase incubation achievements and promote investment exchange, the Intelligent Vehicle Startup Accelerator held a Demo Day during the exhibition, gathering nine promising startups to present their innovative applications and market strategies in smart mobility, ecological sustainability, and green energy transition. The event featured opening remarks by Dr. Thu-Hua Liu, President of Ming Chi University of Technology, and Mr. Y.C. Cheng, Vice President of Formosa Automobile Transportation Corporation. They expressed hopes that through industry-academia collaboration and the strength of startups, a globally competitive smart vehicle technology ecosystem can be built to drive industrial upgrading and sustainable development.
The event showcased strong R&D and market potential of Taiwan’s startups. Experts from PwC, TMI, TADA, and ARTC joined to share insights and foster investment and collaboration. This Demo Day highlighted the partnership of industry, government, and academia, strengthening connections and accelerating technology commercialization. The Intelligent Vehicle Startup Accelerator will continue driving innovation with a focus on net-zero sustainability and green transformation.
