The gymnasium was completed and put into use in 2008. This year marks the 16th Student and Faculty Badminton Tournament, with a total of 395 participants. The badminton skills and overall level of both students and faculty have improved compared to previous years, thanks to the dedicated badminton courts in the gymnasium. One of the tournament's most distinctive features is that mentors can represent their classes in the competition. It is common to see mentors and students competing fiercely on the same court. Additionally, the team competition allows male and female students to play together, creating a dynamic and inclusive atmosphere.
On the court, students give their all, sweating through intense matches, while off the court, their classmates enthusiastically cheer them on, filling the venue with applause and excitement. The tournament not only showcases badminton skills but also fosters a spirit of perseverance—victory without arrogance, and defeat without discouragement. At the end of each match, both sides shake hands and bow to one another, looking forward to meeting again next year for another exciting competition.
