The Computing Center conducted the “Information Security Education and Training: AI Applications and Cybersecurity Protection in the AI Era” on November 20, 2025, with the objective of enhancing faculty and staff awareness of artificial intelligence applications and information security issues, and strengthening institutional awareness of security and compliance in internal AI applications.

　　This training session was delivered by Lecturer Liu Demin. The course content focused on the practical application of artificial intelligence in administrative and teaching environments, and explained the information security risks and key protection considerations arising from the development of AI technologies. The instruction covered fundamental concepts of AI tools, practical application scenarios of generative AI, and the differences and usage considerations between on-premises and cloud-based AI systems, supplemented with case studies of common AI-related security incidents within institutions.

　　The course incorporated hands-on demonstrations to guide faculty and staff in understanding how AI tools can be applied to improve efficiency in daily work scenarios that closely reflect real operational contexts. At the same time, it emphasized information security risks that should be considered during use, including data leakage, model misuse, and insufficient content reliability, among other critical issues.
