Ming Chi University of Technology (MCUT) has once again achieved a significant milestone in industry–academia collaboration! On August 12, 2025, President Thu-Hua Liu of MCUT and Chairman Chuang-Jan Chang of Perseverance Technology Co., Ltd., an MCUT spin-off company, officially signed the “Corporate Master’s Scholarship Program”, symbolizing a new chapter of partnership between academia and industry.

　　Beginning in the 2026 academic year, Perseverance Technology will provide two fully funded scholarships annually for three consecutive years to support outstanding international master’s students. These students will not only receive comprehensive academic training at MCUT but will also have the opportunity to participate in research projects closely related to the company’s core technologies. This integration of academic learning with industrial practice aims to cultivate a new generation of talents equipped with both global vision and professional expertise.

　　This collaboration highlights MCUT’s firm commitment to deepening industry–academia cooperation. It not only creates a platform that combines academic study with practical experience for international students, but also enhances the global visibility of Taiwan’s higher education. Through the introduction of this scholarship program, the university will be able to attract diverse perspectives and innovative ideas, while the company can strategically prepare for future talent and R&D needs—achieving a true win–win outcome.

　　The partnership between MCUT and Perseverance Technology will open up a new journey of growth that combines both academic and practical training for outstanding international students. At the same time, it demonstrates the university’s proactive efforts to strengthen global connections and lead a new model of industry–academia collaboration. Looking ahead, MCUT will continue to promote more cross-disciplinary cooperation, build an innovative research environment with international influence, and advance toward its vision of becoming a world-class university.
