To build upon the fruitful outcomes of MCUT President Dr. Thu-Hua Liu’s delegation visit to India in April and to further implement the "3+2 Integrated Bachelor-Master Program Agreement" signed at that time, Mr. Balakrishnan, Director of Strategic Development and International Relations at Chennai Institute of Technology (CIT), visited Ming Chi University of Technology (MCUT) on May 22, 2025. The visit aimed to deepen practical collaboration and advance bilateral research initiatives.

Organized by the Office of International Affairs, the visit focused on MCUT’s three major research centers to provide an in-depth understanding of the university's cutting-edge research capabilities and potential for international collaboration. The visit began with a presentation by Dr. Phuoc-Huu Le at the Plasma and Thin Film Technology Center, where he shared key research achievements in materials and thin-film applications. It was followed by a tour of the Green Energy Battery Research Center, where Dr. Mano introduced the center’s accomplishments in battery materials and sustainable energy technologies. The final stop was the Intelligent Vehicle Research and Development Center, where Director Dr. Jung-Ho Cheng personally welcomed the guest and presented the center’s work on smart transportation, autonomous systems, and academia-industry cooperation.

Chennai Institute of Technology (CIT) is a prominent private engineering institution in India, offering various programs in engineering, information technology, and management. CIT places strong emphasis on industry-academia collaboration and global engagement, aiming to cultivate globally competitive technical professionals. This visit not only strengthened mutual trust but also laid a solid foundation for future collaborations in student exchange, faculty mobility, and joint research initiatives.
