The Student Association of Ming Chi University of Technology (MCUT) achieved remarkable success at the 2025 National University Student Association Achievement Exhibition, hosted by the Youth Development Administration of the Ministry of Education. The association earned full certification in all four core operational categories and was further honored with the event’s highest distinction—the Excellence Award, highlighting MCUT’s commitment to mature, innovative student governance.
Held on May 3–4 at National Chung Hsing University, the event adopted the theme “Unlock Achievements,” encouraging student associations to self-assess and refine their organizational systems. Evaluations covered four key areas: Student Rights, Organizational Operations and Regulations, Annual Planning and Financial Management, and Electoral Systems. The MCUT Student Association impressed judges with its well-structured documentation and confident on-site presentations, ultimately securing full accreditation across all criteria.
The association’s efforts reflect its dedication to student rights advocacy, institutional development, transparent financial practices, and democratic engagement. This prestigious recognition not only showcases the association’s proactive leadership and accountability but also represents the university’s long-standing commitment to fostering student autonomy and civic responsibility.
Looking ahead, the Student Association aims to build upon this honor by further enhancing governance practices and promoting active student involvement—infusing the campus with positive energy and ensuring student self-governance continues to thrive at Ming Chi University of Technology.
