update date : 2024-11-04

Since its establishment in 1963, Ming Chi University of Technology (MCUT) has a proud history of 61 years. Thanks to the selfless dedication of all our faculty members, we have successfully realized our educational goal of “providing holistic education to cultivate talents with diligence and integrity, a balance of theoretical and practical knowledge, and a lifelong learning capability.” MCUT has also excelled in the recently released 2024 Times Higher Education (THE) World University Impact Rankings, ranking in the 401-600 range globally, with 51 universities from Taiwan included in the global rankings. Additionally, MCUT ranked 4th among comprehensive universities and 1st among technological universities in Taiwan in the 2024 Taiwan Best Universities Ranking by Global Views magazine. These honors reflect the school's relentless efforts in teaching, research, and fostering industry-academia collaboration, which have been widely recognized. Moving forward, we will continue to strive for excellence, not only equipping our students with theoretical and practical knowledge but also fostering lifelong learning, proactive innovation, and high moral character. We aim for MCUT graduates and research teams to become the top choice for businesses.

On this special day, on behalf of all students, we extend our deepest respect and gratitude to all the teachers. Thank you for your tireless efforts in nurturing the next generation, as knowledge changes destinies and education shapes the future. Your wisdom and teaching have profoundly impacted the lives of countless students. On behalf of all students, I say, "Teachers, your hard work is deeply appreciated! Thank you, and Happy Teachers' Day!" Wishing all teachers good health, happiness in your work, and a joyful life!
