Ming Chi University of Technology celebrates its 60th anniversary! The celebrations commenced on November 11^th with the "Ming Chi Graduates 50+ Anniversary Reunion," inviting around 100 alumni from the first to fifth cohorts to revisit their alma mater. This event also welcomed former teachers to reminisce about their days in the classrooms. Among the attendees were three generations of alumni, with grandparents sharing their experiences of morning exercises, part-time jobs, dormitory life, and the teachings of their mentors, passing on the spirit of diligence, perseverance, frugality and trustworthiness to their descendants. Additionally, various celebratory activities such as alumni sports competitions, arts and cultural exhibitions, and awards ceremonies were held, drawing over 400 alumni from around the world to return to their alma mater to join in the festivities and wish Ming Chi a happy birthday.

The Outstanding Alumni Awards, suspended for years due to the pandemic, were merged with the 60th anniversary celebrations. The 9th cohort of outstanding alumni included individuals such as Guohao Yuan (currently a professional painter), Junming Shee (founder of Granwell Products, Inc. in the United States), Shanzhi Lin (general manager of Formosa Plastics Corporation), Guanyi Chen (founder of Ash Cloud Co.), and Bowei Huang (a life education lecturer), among others. The 10th cohort featured figures like Tianmu Qiu (chairman of Sunshine Abrasives Co.), Chun-Chen Yang (professor emeritus at Ming Chi University of Technology), Dewei Wang (professor in the Department of Information Management at the University of Illinois at Springfield), Jiaze Chang (general manager of Avalue Technology Inc.), Quande Chang (global vice president of ASUSTeK Computer Inc.), and honorary alumni Linsheng Wu (Director of Hsiangan Co.). Simultaneously, gratitude activities were conducted for alumni who donated to support the University.

Ming Chi University of Technology pointed out that, thanks to the collective efforts of all its faculty and staff, the institution has long been recognized as a significant paradigm in vocational education by society.
