Following the visit in April this year (2017), the delegation of Indonesian university rectors and high school principals paid another visit to Ming Chi University of Technology this November again. Organized by the Department of International and Cross-strait Education, Ministry of Education this time, the participants of the latest delegation were different from last time. However, like the previous one in April, the delegation was also received with warmest hospitality of our school executives, led by our president, Prof. Thu-Hua Liu. In the welcome ceremony, the honorable guests were arranged to watch the introduction video of MCUT for gaining a deeper understanding of our university. On behalf of MCUT, President Liu further presented our school token to the leader of the delegates Mr. Hengky Lau, the president of ICATI, Jakarta.

Besides being introduced with the various features of MCUT, the delegation was also provided with a campus tour to two advanced research centers of our school, Battery Research of Green Energy and Organic Electronics Research Center, to have a glimpse on the cutting-edge facilities and equipment there.

Due to this visit, MCUT got to build a collaborative relationship with several universities and high schools of Indonesia, including Universitas Riau, Universitas Pendidikan Ganesha, Universitas Bengkulu, Narada School and SMA Kristen Immanuel Batam, by actual partnership agreement-signing. As a result, the international reputation of MCUT has been raised to a higher level in Indonesia and more opportunities of multi-facet cooperation with Indonesian schools have been able to be anticipated and developed in the future.
