update date : 2025-12-19

To deepen the practice of student self-governance and cultivate competencies in planning and executing large-scale events, the Student Association of Ming Chi University of Technology held the campus event “Sanming Festival” on November 26, 2025, at the first floor of the Sports Complex. Centered on the theme of “Youthful Memories and Campus Cohesion,” the event integrated stage performances, food-truck markets, and interactive activities, successfully attracting broad participation from faculty and students and demonstrating the student team’s strong mobilization and execution capabilities.

The event was independently conceived, planned, and implemented by the Student Association. From proposal development, budget planning, division of labor, and venue coordination to on-site flow control and contingency management, the student team experienced the full practical process of organizing a large-scale campus event, effectively strengthening their abilities in project management, cross-team communication, and the execution of public affairs.

Program content combined performances by on-campus student clubs and invited external artists, providing a platform for students to showcase their achievements while promoting club recruitment and arts participation. Interactive initiatives such as “Campus Manhunt” and “Revisiting High School Memories” encouraged active engagement, enhancing participation rates and campus interaction. A food-truck market was also arranged on-site, balancing service functionality with overall event quality.

The “Sanming Festival” was not merely a campus entertainment event, but a student-centered learning-in-practice outcome. Through hands-on planning and execution, students translated classroom learning into actionable skills, clearly demonstrating Ming Chi University of Technology’s achievements in advancing student self-governance, cultivating civic engagement literacy, and realizing holistic education—injecting sustained momentum into campus public affairs.
