Ming Chi University of Technology Hosts Grand Graduation Gala “NE(X)T Chapter” — A Night Where Memories and Futures Intertwine

On the evening of May 23, 2025, Ming Chi University of Technology (MCUT) held its annual graduation gala, “NE(X)T Chapter – Where Memories and Futures Intersect,” at the second-floor plaza of the Comprehensive Building. The event brought together graduating seniors, underclassmen, faculty, and family members in a heartfelt celebration filled with emotion, laughter, and blessings.

Organized by the Student Association, the event centered around the theme “Farewell to the Past, Embrace the Future.” The gala featured immersive campus experiences such as a stamp collection trail and a postcard-writing station, allowing students to revisit memorable spots on campus and pen messages to friends, mentors, or their future selves—messages that will be mailed by the organizers as time-traveling tokens of gratitude and hope.

The night came alive with vibrant performances by student clubs, including the Classical Music Club, Korean Culture Club, EDM Club, and Dance Club. The highlight of the evening was a series of live performances by renowned artists Nasi、Diana、XuDo and Trevor, igniting cheers and applause across the plaza.

Food trucks added a festive atmosphere as students enjoyed gourmet bites under the lights, capturing final moments on campus through photos and conversations. University President, Vice President, and Secretary-General also attended to offer words of encouragement, urging graduates to uphold MCUT’s values of “Diligence and Simplicity” as they turn their knowledge into power for their next life chapter.

This graduation gala was not just a farewell, but a vivid demonstration of students’ creativity, teamwork, and lasting friendship. As the lights dimmed and the music faded, the night marked both a beautiful end to university life and a bold beginning of new journeys. The memories forged at MCUT will forever illuminate the paths ahead—shining brightly in each graduate’s life.
