Professor Shun-Yi Jian from the Department of Materials Engineering at Ming Chi University of Technology led the "鎂麗救星" team went on to win the gold medal in the FITI Innovation and Entrepreneurship Camp

The National Science and Technology Council (NSTC), aiming to drive the advancement of technology and economic growth in Taiwan, officially launched the "From IP to IPO, FITI" Innovation and Entrepreneurship Incentive Program in March 2013. The program is executed by the Science & Technology Policy Research and Information Center of the National Applied Research Laboratories, with the mission of promoting an innovation and entrepreneurship culture in academic and research institutions. Positioned as the "first mile of academic entrepreneurship," it serves as an incentive policy to industrialize innovative research.

Targeting entrepreneurial needs in fields such as information and communication technology, biotechnology, medicine, and engineering, the program provides six months of professional business training. During the training, participants will learn how to transform technological research into commercial ideas, gain fundamental knowledge of entrepreneurship, develop business pitching skills, and explore sources of seed funding. The training content is specifically designed for startup teams, offering extensive practical exercises in team building, communication training, collaboration, and task delegation.

Professor Shun-Yi Jian (簡順億) from the Department of Materials Engineering at Ming Chi University of Technology led the "鎂麗救星" team to achieve remarkable success. After securing a spot among the top 40 teams in the first phase of the FITI 2025 program, they went on to win the gold medal in the FITI Innovation and Entrepreneurship Camp. Their achievement was recognized by judge Secretary-General Shih-Chung Su (蘇拾忠) of the Taiwan Angel Investment Association (台灣天使投資協會), who encouraged the team. It is anticipated that they will continue to achieve outstanding results in the upcoming evaluations.
