MCUT held a contest named “The Apprentice” for building graduating students solid competitiveness to stand out in the job markets. Experts in management, human resources, and commercial advertisements were invited to give talks on job interview tips and professional advice to the students.

A series of workshops on career counseling were given prior to the contest each year. The topics include CV writing techniques, interview etiquettes, group and individual interview tips, work attitude and ethics, team-building skills and strategies. Finally, The Apprentice rounded up the series of workshop and equipped the students with the job skills they needed in the future.
