[Event Achievement] 2026 Service Sector Talent Resilience Enhancement Program: Achievement Presentation & Closing Ceremony for AI-Driven Product Innovation and Market Application Training Class
On July 21, Ming Chi University of Technology (MCUT) hosted the "Achievement Presentation and Closing Ceremony for the Commerce Development Administration (CDA) AI Training Class" (under the 2026 Service Sector Talent Resilience Enhancement Program) in Room 302 of the Innovation Building. The program was organized and executed under the leadership of Prof. Yu-Ching Lee from the Bachelor of Science Program in Digital Marketing Design. The President of MCUT attended the event in person and delivered opening remarks, offering high praise and encouragement to all participating trainees.
To assist the service industry in addressing digital transformation challenges and the surging demand for AI application talent, the Commerce Development Administration under the Ministry of Economic Affairs introduced the "Youth AI Practical Training Program." By integrating higher education resources with practical corporate needs, the program provides 120 hours of systematic instruction, hands-on capstone projects, and employment matchmaking mechanisms to equip young professionals with practical AI skills for immediate workplace application.
The curriculum covers fundamental AI knowledge and hands-on tools, tailored to sub-industries such as retail, wholesale, catering, logistics, and lifestyle services. Modules were structured around operational management, marketing, and product planning. During the presentation, student teams delivered project reports evaluated by industry experts from partner enterprises. Through these projects, students learned to apply AI techniques to resolve real corporate pain points, while integrated career counseling helped boost their employment readiness.
