Heading Towards Globalization! Ming Chi University of Technology Promotes Staff English Oral Training for 4 Consecutive Years, Training Nearly 100 Employees to Create a Bilingual-Friendly Campus
In response to internationalization policies, Ming Chi University of Technology (MCUT) held the "2026 Building a Bilingual-Friendly Campus: English Oral Environment Training for Staff" from June to July this year. MCUT has consistently promoted English oral training programs for four consecutive years, empowering nearly 100 administrative staff members to date. Under the attentive guidance of professional foreign and Taiwanese instructors, the program has effectively enhanced staff members' practical abilities to communicate with international visitors, demonstrating the university’s commitment to optimizing administrative efficiency and creating an international workplace.
The training adopted a small-class, grouped teaching format led by experienced Taiwanese and foreign instructors to ensure that every participant received comprehensive support. The curriculum featured one-on-one pronunciation coaching and scenario-based simulations, encouraging participants to speak up confidently while reducing reliance on Chinese. By closely tailoring the content to actual job responsibilities, staff members were able to immediately apply what they learned, significantly boosting their ready-to-use capabilities in handling foreign-language business.
MCUT stated that it will continue to align with global trends by actively enhancing the English proficiency of its faculty and staff, embedding an international vision into daily administrative workflows. By comprehensively strengthening staff members' language skills, MCUT is making steady strides toward realizing its long-term vision of building an internationalized campus.
