The 114th Academic Year Track and Field Competition

  On April 23, 2026, Ming Chi University of Technology held the 114th Academic Year Track and Field Games. The morning of the event featured clear skies, bright sunshine, and pleasant weather, providing ideal conditions for all competitions. Faculty members and students gathered on the athletic field to participate in this annual sporting event. All athletes gave their best performances in every competition, allowing the entire event to proceed smoothly and conclude successfully. Although light rain fell during the closing ceremony, the enthusiasm of the faculty and students remained undiminished. Amid applause and cheers, the event concluded with many wonderful memories for everyone involved.

  This year’s opening ceremony began with enthusiastic applause as students from each department marched onto the field in neat formation and high spirits, demonstrating the unity, teamwork, and youthful energy of MCUT students. A special highlight of this year’s opening ceremony was the robotic dog demonstration presented by the College of Engineering, showcasing the university’s achievements in intelligent robotics research. The robotic dogs not only symbolized the practical application of smart technology in daily life, but also highlighted Ming Chi University of Technology’s strengths and distinctive features in advanced technological research, becoming one of the major highlights of this year’s sports meet.

  The competition events included sprint races, relay races, long jump, softball throw, and tug-of-war relay competitions. Every event was highly competitive, with athletes demonstrating not only excellent physical abilities but also outstanding teamwork and sportsmanship. The fun games also attracted enthusiastic participation from many students, filling the venue with laughter and excitement. In addition to its competitive spirit, the sports meet was also filled with youthful energy and a joyful atmosphere.

  Alongside the Track and Field Games, the campus fair was also held simultaneously. As in previous years, the university distributed fair vouchers to faculty members and students to encourage participation and interaction. This year’s event featured nearly 40 food trucks, offering a wide variety of food and activities. While enjoying the competitions, faculty members and students were also able to experience the lively and festive atmosphere across campus.
