MOE held 2018 National Evaluation of Student Organizations at National Chung Hsing University from March 31 through April 1. In order to fight for the highest honor of the clubs of the year, all the schools did their utmost to participate in the grand event. Unlike in the past, for those who were selected as this year's winners, their awards have been doubled, but the number of award-winning clubs has been greatly reduced.

In spite of this, MCUT still achieved good results in the nationwide selection. The Pop Dancing Club won the award for the third consecutive year and was awarded the First-class Award in the academic and artistic categories this year. Love Crazy Club did not participate in the selection in the past. Apart from the development of featured club activities such as flash, haunted houses, and food crossings in recent years., they also committed to the winter and summer camps for elementary schools in rural areas. This year for the first time, they won the First-class Award in the entertainment category.

This year's student organizations evaluation coincided with the midterm exam week. However, students were always trying their best for both their academic work and extracurricular activities. Not only did they study hard for the exams, but actively prepare the selection materials so that the results of their efforts would be positively presented during the evaluation.

MCUT pays tributes to the founder Mr. Y. C. Wang’s spirit of“Diligence, Perseverance, Frugality and Trustworthiness”. MCUT emphasizes the holistic approach to education, and actively develops students' soft power. MCUT also spares no efforts in supporting student club activities. In order to develop the clubs and reputations, students sacrificed their winter vacation to dedicate themselves in reviewing and revising the materials in countless meetings. The commitment over the past few months has demonstrated the vibrant vigor and vitality of the MCUT students. Hope this momentum and persistence can be permanently passed on.
