Ya-Liang Lin, directed by Profs. Ya-Fen Wu, Hung-Pin Hsu and Zong-Liang Tseng, was awarded "Excellent Award of Oral" at 2018 International Symposium on Novel and Sustainable Technology in October 2018. The title of her work was "Optical Properties of Organometal Halide Perovskite Films."

About the competition:

Outstanding scholars from well-known universities in Vietnam, Japan, India, Malaysia, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Thailand, Austria, etc. participated in the 16th International Symposium on Novel and Sustainable Technology, 2018. More than 260 academic papers on the latest research and development and their results were delivered.

What the student winner thinks about this experience:

This is my first time to participate in an international academic seminar. I have benefited a lot from participating in the 2018 International Symposium on Novel and Sustainable Technology. In addition to electronic-related fields, I learned from other fields of research, too. I also acquired international etiquette, better communication and expression skills from the conversations with the participants around the world. I will try to apply these experiences to my interaction with others in the future so as to improve myself to a higher level.
